I'm not exactly blown away by my V5 5500...

Just got it yesterday from EBworld. It replaces a V3 3000. Things look a bit better but nothing great. The package contents were pretty pathetic. Skimpy manual, CD and that's it. I think I'll return this and wait for the next generation of cards. For $306 I can't justify this purchase. I'm bummed. FSAA looks good but games move so fast that you have to stop playing to notice. Anyone feel the same?

Just returned my V5..... I'm going to wait this one out for the next round. It sounds like everyone is having problems all the way around (i.e., GTS owners too) Might get an MX if it is actually $119 and overclock the CRAP out of it. That sounds morew fun to me than dropping $300 on a vid card for a slight increase is noticable quality.

Well my V3 3000 is still serving me fine, my CPU is the bottleneck now. I'll sit this round out and get a major upgrade end of the year or early next year...
