I don't believe it. That is far thicker than anything ever recorded, or at least that I can find. Photo chopped I think.
I think that there's just something funky going on with the perspective in the photos.

Assuming that the stick is of a fairly uniform diameter you can compare the size of the earthworm with the size of the guys hand, and it looks comparable to other fucking big worms (that's the scientific term for them BTW).

It's a big fucking worm!

Absolutely chopped. The shadows on the worms body are wrong and clearly added after the fact.

My first thought, but I think its not a shadow, just the non lighted side of the worm.

Surely its a photo trick, just saying the shadow may not be the give away.
