So I've decided to attend the MArch Program at the University of Oregon next year.

I know there's a pretty good presence of ATOT in Oregon so I'm hoping on the bandwagon and moving west.

Eugene or bust 😀

No sales tax... But don't worry, our fine state govt has found many other ways to take it's citizens.

(Can you say "Highest gasoline tax in the nation!", boys and girls?) 😉

Hmm, I thought Oregon was a make-believe place. Some where they used to scare children into eating their dinner.

"Eat your peas or I'll send you to Oregon!"
"NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!"

You don't want to live in Oregon. All it does is rain every day and the people all lean to the left so far that they walk with a limp.

you make that sound as if it were a bad thing.

and intsead of hopping on the bandwagon, you should hop on the covered wagon to Oregon.

hmm... I am from OR originally, and as long as you stay away from the scary small towns, it's gorgeous. Go camping/hiking/canoeing. Go to the coast.

Least populated coast in the nation.. must be.

true. I'm hopping the covered bandwagon...but when I get to the columbia I'm going to float down the river as a shortcut. Oregon Trail and all.

I thought Oregon had many of the highest taxes in the country.

They do. My combined state and county income taxes are 10.25%. Property taxes are about $14 per $1,000. A gallon of premium is ~$2.05 today.

It looks worse than it is; we don't have any sales taxes, so our main tax source is income and property, making those look inflated.

LOL....you're going to be a Duck. WASHINGTON OWNS U

I wouldn't go that far. I'm origionally from Seattle and I had the option of going to the UW. I like Oregon a lot more, it's absolutely stunning and the weather in Eugene is better than that of Seattle.

So you may laugh azazyel but go Ducks!
