I'm making some coffee.

Never heard of it, "Ethiopia duromina" sounds like an exotic virus but if you find it tasty then by all means enjoy.

It has some complex citrus and floral flavors or notes (part of the reason I don't make it stronger), but I drink plenty of regular coffee blends when I don't have single-origin beans. I always make the cheaper beans, drip, and even instant (love Nescafe Taster's Choice when I run out of everything else) much stronger.

I prefer light and medium roasts. More caffeine and less bitter.

how do you reconcile that? instant coffee and single origin in the same thought. 😕

Pretty easy. I love coffee. 😛 That and I don't always have money for the good stuff. I'm also not home all the time, so I'll often take what is readily available. None of my friends or family are coffee lovers, either, so the best I can hope for when visiting them is usually regular drip coffee. Ideally, I would be drinking Jamaican Blue Mountain every day, or at least most of the time. I have yet to try Kopi Luwak or the other even more rare coffees.

Sometimes cheap blends are just fine when you don't want complexity, just a strong cup of joe to slap you awake.

I want to try some of that coffee that comes out the birds ass. What is it called?

We had Kopi Luwak in Bali but it's made from civets..
