Well, traffic sucks and the air is very dry at times and homes are expensive. But, I work 12 miles from home and have a 20 minute commute and I bought my home before housing prices went freaking crazy so it's all good! 😀

ok.... my impression besides what you've said... a lot of homes on hills, uphill steep driveways and such.
not just real estate is expensive - food is too. traffic is bad and the drivers are CRAZY!
awww, who am i kidding... it's a pretty cool place to live if you can afford it. :thumbsup:

I used to live in Rochester and I crewed on a 30' Pearson out of a little bay half way between Rochester and Syracuse during the summer. Lake Ontario was my playground also!

Edit-Sodus Bay was where I sailed from.
