I'm looking forard to getting AOD (Boomstick Ed.)...but I have a question about purchasing Evil Dead I & II.

Are there tons of different versions? Which of each do you prefer & why?

I would like to purchase a copy of each and would prefer versions which included more deleted scenes and additional footage. I am not really big on those interviews and commentary bonuses.

Your thoughts would be greatly appreciated (links are cool too!!).

Not really.. there is the official bootleg version of Evil Dead II, but thats about it.


Just get the standard ones.. the movie was bad, was ment to be bad, and everyone loves it because it is so bad.

Actually, I'm a huge Evil Dead/Army of Darkness fan as well, in addition to being a member of HTF, so I asked some questions about the different DVDs before, and someone was kind enough to direct me to this thread:

But now that this new DVD's coming out...I'm wondering what differences it has.

After I posted this message, I popped back over to Hot Deals and read some more of the posts about the Boomstick Ed. in a thread about it being pre ordered at Best Buy. If you check out the thread you will find some info. on it.
