Hi,

I want to be able to send fax's from my PC and when i recive a fax, i want to be able to store it in my PC BUT i don't want to print it out.

I'm trying to run a paper-less office, so if i can cut this down it would be a big step.

Thanks for your help.

Most fax S/W will do what you are asking.

Inbounds are stored as a document; print it as desired.
Outbounds may be able to have a copied saved (depends on the S/W used)

WinFax used to be the standard.

XP has fax S/W built in.

Most fax modems that you can buy will come with a S/W package.

mmm, used to be free fax software for this built into your Windows OS.

Saves files as .tif or something if I remember.

US Robotics 56k Modems have a fax app that ships with it that does this. When Faxes are sent and recieved they go into the in and outbox. You can save them in any format from there.
