I called up Comcast and they gave me the "student" deal of digital cable + HSI for like $80/month for 9 months. Beats paying $100+

look at www.comcastoffers.com. I went through them and received my rebate checks right on schedule.

Comcast currently has a first 6 month for 19.99 at circuit city... I believe you also get a free cable modem or a gift certificate for like $50 or something like that.

I did that too. I think my deal was 19.99 for 6 months on the internet. Free after rebate cable modem. $100 rebate on top. I had no problems other than understanding the logistics. I already had to have cable active then call them to schedule the internet service with their promotion.
