Build your own....you could have a kickass subwoofer for $300-$500 depending on what your budget is.

If your looking to buy a premade one...try the JBL or Infinity. The Infinity HPS-1000 is a kickass sub for a manufacter. Like I said you can build a really kickass sub for less then what you can buy.

hmm my budget would probably be lower than 300 or 500, lol, so i'm probably going to stick with premades.

Listen to the JBL-PB12 and the Sony- WDM40

they are both good

These guys have the JBL for $259 and not bad shipping price considering it's heavy as hell.

sunfire ranges from $1200 to $1800

Krell is like $15,000 or something like that

that's probably beyond what he wants to spend...

IamDavid: Are those really that expensive? I got that model for $100 from a guy I know who was strapped for cash. He offered, I took it. I didn't know I was getting such a good deal.

Subs are expensive. If you have cheap speakers, and are not a fanatic, just check out ubid. You can get some really good deals there. If you only spent a couple hundred or less on your mains, then there is no reason to get a >$200 sub.
