I'm looking for a Marine CD Player.

I just bought the boat last week. I took it out this weekend despite the rain and plugged in my Discman with the tape adapter. I like the Seaworthy branded radio/cassette player that came with it, but I really want a digitally tuned radio and an in-dash cd player for this boat. After looking around, it seems the biggest brand on the internet for Marine cd players/radios is Clarion, but they're expensive. Does anyone have any recommendations? I found a Boss branded one, but I don't know if those are any good or not. Link to Boss

Open-cockpit boat means it will get wet at some point no matter how careful you are.

Plus, I live in an apt complex and don't have a garage to keep it in. I currently have it covered with a boat cover and then a tarp on top of that. Rain and moisture are going to play a part in this until I can buy a house in the next couple of years.

Not really, we used to have a boat, the tape deck stayed pretty dry. Definitely dry enough that no damage would have resulted from the few drops of water that may have gotten on it.

Ok, yeah, in that case it will get wet.

I'm not really that worried about water when I'm going down the lake. Most water that splashed in this weekend hit the stern of the boat when we slammed into some 3-4 foot swells. It has side glass and a good windshield to protect it for the most part. I could always get a Pioneer cover to go over it for $40, but I'd just as well get one that's been waterproofed a little better so I don't have to take as much of a chance.

Is Boss a good brand? I like the fact that it comes with quite a few extras, but have never owned any of their stuff...I just don't want to get something EXTREMELY low end and have it crapping out on me.
