I'm looking for a good .Net Intro book

I've been job hunting and seeing ads for .Net developers everywhere. Unfortunately I don't know jack about it. I figure reading a book about .Net probably won't get me a job but it can't hurt and It'd be nice to know something about it. I know java, php, and javascript already so it doesn't need to be that basic but I'm looking for something that is easy to understand with no .Net background. I was looking at this
I've used O'Reilly books before and liked them but I wasn't sure how good of an intro book it would be.

Unfortunately with books by the time they are released, they are out of date. Based on the reviews it looks like a good book and O-Reilly has been good in the past; however I have not read this one.
Did you see they authors mug? With a look like that its got to be a good book. 🙂

Here are some other resources to compliment the book and cement your transition to dorkdom.

Almost all of my non-.NET books are O'Reilly books.

All but one of my .NET books are Microsoft books (the other one is an O'Reilly book)

Edit: The one I have is the one you linked. Actually I might have two, the other one being an ADO.NET book. O'Reilly books are generally very good. Can't go wrong either way.
