I'm looking for a desktop security software package.

This is to keep a public windows computer from being screwed up.
No.. i'm not going to just use the Guest Account.

Use a Restricted-User account, aka Limited account on a stand-alone WinXP box. Not Guest. Beyond that, I heard good things about Deep Freeze.

use XP pro and Global Policies to create a custom restricted account. Best thing is to prevent downloads and disable USB/Floppy/CD access.

I have downloaded and am testing the Deep Freeze program. As of right now it's the perfect choice.
