Pink Floyd? (Pure guessing)
WTF?

WHO'S NEXT? THE WHO?!?!

Duh.

*shrugs*

Before my time

Most good music was.

IMO.

A LOT of good music was, of course. I'm a big fan of opera.

However, Pink Floyd and The Who were not substantially more than 'pop rock' of their time. Which is fine and all, it just doesn't sound that interesting to ME. It sounds like...well, like pop rock from a different era for a different group of people. (FWIW 'pop rock' != 'bubblegum pop', I'm not trying to be insulting here and compare those groups to Britney or something)

I think Pink Floyd gets too much credit for the same reason Tool gets too much credit, and I'd take The Who over them, and The Guess Who over BOTH of them.

Hehe. He just discovered The Who.

What makes you say that?
He's talking about dderidex.

Why would you presume I'd "just discovered" them because I couldn't immediately associate a series of song titles with a band name?

My dad used to listen to them all the time. I've heard PLENTY of The Who, and as I said, they are alright, I guess. Just sounds like music from a different era. Which, surprise, surprise, they are.

(And, FWIW, if that '50 Cent' quip was aimed at me, no, I do not. Currently playlist includes: Lacuna Coil, Within Temptation, Theatre of Tragedy, Epica, Tristania, Avrigus, Nightwish)
