I'd take Biden over any other Repub/Tea Partier any day of the week based solely on how the Repubs in Congress and (formerly) the White House have a proven record of favoring the minority rich over the majority middle class and the poor.

Hopefully, this country will not elect Hillary or Biden. The next president is going to be a republican. He will get most of the black vote, since Obama didn't do shit for them.

Not a chance in hell..

Hillary is the next president. The only way you'll get a republican president in 2016 is if Hillary decided not to run. In which case, Christie will be your only hope if he can get through a primary.

Christie is done. That bridge scandal (GOP pay attention, this is what an actual scandal looks like, one where actual Americans are tangibly fucked over by deliberate actions of a public servant ;)) finished his career before it got started.

So it's worse to be fucked over than killed by deliberate actions of a public servant. Yeah. Sure.

OP's argument makes sense. The smartest President we've ever had or will ever have is destroying our health insurance industry and giving us a permanent recession for the less than wealthy. Surely only by electing the dumbest President we will ever have can we be saved.

"Squirrel" indeed! LOL

Biden did very well in a debate with someone considered one of the smartest people in the GOP.

Well is there a republican party anymore? I mean there so split up and disorganized there were 4 responses to Obama's speeches. Embarrassing they cant keep their party together.

Doesn't really matter, in the end of the day there'll be a republican candidate on the ballot and anyone who doesn't want to vote democrat will vote for him or her.

I don't know what you are smoking, but I'd like to try some.
Republicans couldn't beat Obama in a horrible economy, and somehow they are going to beat Hillary?
The only chance Republicans have is if Hillary doesn't run.

If you think that people who don't want to vote Democrat are going to vote for whatever turd comes through the sphincter that is the GOP primary, you are going to be disappointed again.

The reverse is also true. The problem is that we have no real alternatives and the system is implemented in such a way that if you have two turds one will win over a third superior candidate. The deck is stacked.

Everyones best bet would be to register republican and pick the best republican vote in the primary then switch back to dem/green/libertaruan/etc. for the general election.

More choice ftw.

Democrat primaries are actually capable of passing candidates other than turds. Not guaranteed but capable. To get out of the GOP primary, a candidate needs to be either a far right loon or a good liar.

In the case of President I strongly disagree with the bolded. I won't argue with the low quality of Republicans, but we have a Democrat in office who doesn't know or chooses not to use the legal tools he has for dealing with MJ and instead seeks to promote what he acknowledges as an illegal activity while issuing no real protection for banks based on law, but rather looking the other way. It could not be any other way because what Obama is actively aiding is an illegal activity.

He's also Party First, and at national level he's the rule. The only significant exception was Howard Dean, and he was largely unsupported by the party, at least compared to "Our Boy" John Kerry, and the latter has been rewarded by becoming Secretary of State. Party uber alles is first principle, and yes that is a bad thing.

If Biden and Hillary both run I will most likely vote for Hillary, but we shall see. I think Biden is a tough old bird, and agree with the OP that he is most likely underestimated but I think Hillary would do a much better job.
