How do you think, is this normal? I see so many people have tattoos nowadays. I feel an old good school boy among them. They're pretty much everywhere. Seems like they went frigging crazy. I'm not an anti-tattoo person () and I don't want to offend those who have them.

Why do you put them under your skin? I don't quite understand that. Maybe someone would explain me.

I love mine, they are on my back so you can only see them with no shirt on. I got them cause i like the simplicity of the symbols that i have, and there meaning, but i think they look cool. I have never seen another person with mine, so that makes them unique in todays tatoo-ed up world

I have three. I got them in '97 because I wanted them. They are also easy for me to hide. I work in the "corporate" world so I can't allow them to cause a bad first impression.

Tattoos are trendy, unfortunately. There are people who really take the time to think about what they want to put on their body, and then there are people who jump on the bandwagon and get a tattoo because "it's hip and happening".

I have a tattoo and would like to get more, eventually. It's just a different way of expressing yourself, albeit permanently.

I can't stand it when I see a girl with a tatoo. I don't know why, but theres just something about it that I find so unattractive. I don't even like the little hearts on the shoulder or ankle or anything. But hey, if you want to lose your chance with me thats your choice

i like when girls have the tribal stuff on their lower back. For one thing it usually means they are a little slutty and will be easy to get into the sack. And another thing is, it looks nice when you DHLKB. (can I say that?)....j/k it looks good it certain positions though.

I like'em with or without. I judge a person on their personality, not by what they look like or what's on their body.

I don't have any tattoos yet.

I don't like tattoos because I think they're

- pretty trendy, as someone else mentioned,

- permanent (goes with the "trendy" part, I suppose)

- and well, because of the skin's own pigments, the colors seem washed-out and even grimy sometimes . . ..

I hate tattoos. They used to be rebellious, a statement against conformity in western society. Now they are just trendy. I really find the tattoos women get on the small of their back annoying. What is the purpose? The only tattoos I like are the ones people get on their face (like the Maori tribes in New Zealand or like Mike Tyson). That takes guts. Otherwise scarification impresses me more.

That's what I'm saying. It's just a personal preference. I don't have a problem with the people that really thought about their tattoos before they got them, but the people who just do it to be trendy are stupid.

Tattoos are a huge turnoff for me -- fortunately my wife doesn't have any (and hates them). I just could never have one put on because I know that in forty years it's going to look like a nasty purple splotch regardless of what it was when it was "inked".
