We have one other person currently submitting OGR stubs under the Federation ID. I believe it's LeBlatt, but I haven't had a chance to verify it yet.

Anyone else that would like to join our little OGR mini-team is of course welcomed to do so.

Hi Viz.

I simply needed a change of atmosphere. Could say more, but I won't.

I just remembered you are with the Storm group. It might be awhile before I pass you fellows on the full stats (if ever).

Any chance you might want to change OGR mini-teams? Hey, doesn't hurt to ask. :)

Thanks for the kind words, Russ.

RC,

You do the Federation and TA proud! (I'm proud to call you a teammate and friend)..

Sorry you're unhappy....but I guess you're not the only one...

Do TA and the Federation proud in OGR...and kick Viz for me while you're there! ;)

Hmmmm...A mini-team at the top in both OGR and RC5...very interesting :)

Yes, Vice-Admiral Engineer it will no longer matter whether you are looking at RC5 or OGR stats, either way you will see the Federation near the top.

Hmmm, New (and worthy) competition. Sorry RC, but I have cast my lot and will stick with the ThunderStormers. It will take a lot of work to catch us in OGR-25, but that herd of yours will be an awesome powerhouse to the project. The Federation will quickly rise in the OGRstats.

Did you get all squared away with the 'rack OS/client issues?

I did the best I could which was to use Linux v: 462. It's still about 10% inefficient. I can only hope that dnet will soon release a new client for Linux.

10% of my herd is about 750 MHZ that's being wasted. I desperately need to investigate using a boot prom and booting off of WIN2K Server. If I go that route I have a hunch there will be a lot of trouble. Best solution is to just hope that dnet soon releases a new client for Linux.

Glad to have you back on the OGR side RC!!!!!

We have been in need of a little help getting back into the top spot! It is within our grasp!

Please do all you can to beat the ThunderStorm! I wouldn't mind taking a second seat to someone within TA, just not some other team! :|:|

-It ain't going to be easy for you tho! :p:p

Welcome to the team, RC. We've been _VERY_ close to slashdot in the dailies (and overall for that matter) - just need a few more members to get to #1.

Good morning to all.

Has anyone found a larger 25/6 stub while I was gone? :) Or do I still hold the record? :)

Storm was 3T yesterday, and today - 8T Seems things are improving already. :)

Does any of my fellow OGR members have a solution to my Linux/OGR dilemna? I have 6 diskless nodes that boot using a Linux floppy. Unfortunately, the Linux dnet client v. 463 is almost 20% inefficient, and v. 462 is about 10% inefficient. The comparisons are to WIN32 v. 463b using the same processor. I sent a note/request to dnet, but the email was ignored.

I'm glad to be back among such a fine group of DC project folks.

Now let's kick some /. arse :)

About the only suggestion would be to add some small hard drives and use Win 95B so you can use the Win32-463b client.

This would be more trouble than it's worth, especially if you crash every now and then and loose that production time.

I think that it was good that you regressed to the 462 client for Linux though .
