Don't know where it came from originaly, but there are thousands of captioned cat pictures like that..
Heck I even got a Fark headline greenlighted with a variation of it.

the first place I ever saw it was a Mac Hall comic... really seemed to blow up after one of the WoW devs used it on the forums.

I heard it came from WC2 or 3.
