i'm into hiphop, trance, techno, salsa (just got back from miami, WOOT!)

i also like clubs and bars, but prolly prefer bars. tell me some places i can go on the strip that has some tight ladies, and i'm no slouch myself. unfortunately i'll be going out by myself 🙁

bah, i know casinos are futile, but i did bring a crisp $100 bill to drop at blackjack. i might even get bold enough to drop the entire thing on my first play

RA in Luxor is nice. I heard Rain in Palm is fabulous too. Rum Jungle is nice restaurant in Mandalay Bay that play the kind of music you like.

check out Baby too (or now known as, Body Language).
there's another spot named ICE that seems like a nice spot.

I've pretty much been to every club, I would say check out light at the bellagio or body english at the hardrock...hot ladies everywhere. Ra at the Luxor has some of the most interesting DJ's I have heard, one guy sampled smells like teen spirit over jay-z.

edit: okay, so far i'm at RA on wednesday, ghostbar on tuesday (what's "to the top"?), and i'm still ooking for sunday and monday. i'm thinking of bar hopping one of those nights, prolly monday, because sunday looks to be pretty big still
 
urrr... I don't know would this be universally true.... but my theory is:
"Las Vegas is dead during weekday"
I was there on a Thursday night and damn, the entire strip is like a ghost town. few cars, few tourist, empty slots machine, just dead quiet.

I doubt there will be much of party going on, unless there's a week long convention going on.

yup, in vegas. my hotel provides net access for $11 / 24 hours

if u have a laptop, ur set since they have both wired and wireless. otherwise you *could* use the webtv, but i don't know how that works. btw, i'm at the MGM grand
 
MGM Grand? nicee.....

I think Studio 54 is inside MGM Grand, and as a hotel guest just show them your 'key card' and you can get in for free. Studio 54 is pretty nice... but I like RA more and probably Rain ALOT more. Ghostbar is mainly a chilling out place, or a place to bring your girl to impress.
 
rain and rum jungle were my favorites. thursday night there's Bikinis over at Rio. Don't let those bitches trick you into taking a shot as soon as you get in.
 
we got free passes to Bikinis and as soon as we walked in, the hot chicks in bikinis swarm you and tell you to get on your knees so they can give you a shot "creatively". we thought it was all fun till they charged us like 10 bucks each shot. booooooo. other than that, the club is pretty cool. smaller than others, but what else is gonna be crackin on a thursday night.
 
I havent been to RA but we did hit up Light, 54, and Rain last October. We went to Light on a thursday but it was still pretty wild. Good music, hot chicks, and bartender poured heavy for us.

Unfortunately, we were kind of disappointed at 54 and rain because although they were nice and had lots of eye candy, they played some VERY strange music. Rain and 54 are more hangouts at the bar than actual clubs. Rain in particular has this tiny dance floor in this HUGE club and if you're brave enough to push your way through, you get to dance with 5 other guys smashed up against you. 54 is almost the same, but you get to do it to MC Hammer lol. When i go back i'll probably give RA a chance and go back to Light.

On the other hand, though, the Vegas club scene reminds me a lot of downtown SD or hollywood. Very superficial. It can get annoying.
 
When I was in Vegas, Rain was crazy. Pyrotechnics and a dancefloor surrounded by a moat. You're going to have to take a cab out to the Palms but I'd say it's worth it.
