the lack of available labor would kill most contractors trying to set up shop down there unless you took your own people. This is a much worse position that the FL hurricane because of the severe shortages of materials, fuel, and labor.

mine's Ram Tough, but good luck with that Ford....

I know a few contractors in that area that are going to get killed because of material increase and labor problems on jobs they already had underway....

you forget, ford now uses "for the road ahead". And i guess you'll have no luck in NO since there's no road ahead. :)
