Grahpire3 A6 is what I've been looking at getting.

Do any of you guys have any experience with this... I'm comfortable with photoshop, and am learning illustrator, but I want to take it to the next level 😛

are these things worth the money? is this a good brand/model? are there ever any hotdeals on them that I should have my eyes out for? what should I pay for one of these?
 
Wacom has an excellent reputation.

The going price for the Grahpire line is $99, Newegg has them for around $90 shipped. The latest version is Graphire4, you linked to the Graphire3 version.

As for worth the money, only if you spend a lot of time working in graphics programs. Many tablet users related the awkwardness of becoming accustomed to using the pen to that of a pig on roller skates. However once accustomed most reported that they now use their pens almost exclusively.

I myself never got past the awkward stage because I only used it sporadicly.
 
thanks... what other options are there besides wacom? or as a begginer should wacom be the only one Im really concerned about.
