I'm in tech support and a 'computer guy' just called...

...and he says he needs a new IP. He mentioned he made some 'enemies' while playing online games and now his computer crashes. Formatted 6 times and it still crashes. Said only cause is the ip was posted on some 'forum' and hes getting attacked. Made a strong statement and said, if i don't give 'em a new IP, hes off to DSL.

so i said...did ya try and un plug the network cable and see if it still goes apesh!t for ya? he said oh...didn't try that...hangs up and hasn't called back since

wonder if he's a member of AT

that was my highlight for this rather boring saturday.....

unless he is running IIS or something, there is almost no chance anyone can make his computer crash, best they can do is flood/packet him, which might slow his connection down, but thats it, he is probably just alittle paranoid
