Truthfully, we had our ups and downs a few years ago, but we grew, and now can honestly say she's the perfect wife. She makes $$$$, she insists on doing the laundry (she even uses fabric softner!), she's about the best mom I've ever seen. She's an awful cook, but I'm a Jedi chef, so that part evens out.

I'd recommend popping the question. It beats sitting alone in your boxers watching A&E posting on ATOT every night.

Naw, you tend to get practical as you age. I could make $500/week playing gigs in my heyday, but when you become a father, you start to realize that staying out until 3am, smelling like a bar, and band practice all the time doesn't fit with a family life.

This is just a "something you always wanted but never would buy for yourself" type of gift (which is the best kind ).

Yeah, my wife just let me fork over some savings for major upgrades to my Mac Mini (2ghz Core Duo, nice UPS, blah blah blah). A treat once in awhile is mucho appreciated :thumbsup:
