I'm having trouble with ideas here... (router cooling)

I recently discovered that my router (Linksys BEFSX41) overheats easily. And I mean *overheats*. It is not a defective unit, the original one I RMA'd. I recieved another refurb'd from Linksys, and same problem. So, how do I create a cooling unit? Or does someone manufacture them? While I'm at it, how about cooling for my cablemodem and wireless ap? (they don't need it, but might as well ask...)

Crack the parts in question open, find that's making the heat, and check out some local electronics shops and/or warehouses for some heatsinks of appropriate size. I don't suggest wiring a DC fan into prefab components, but if you're up to it, wire one on to ensure airflow. An alternative to your usual DC12v fan is an AC powered fan.

In case you live out in the boonies, www.mouser.com sells plenty of fans suitable for these purposes, and may well have heatsinks as well. They have every other electronics bit that I've ever looked for from Molex plugs to 7500mAh NiMH D-sized batteries that I used in building an external power brick for my digital camera (Those suckers cost $18 each - I needed 5. But the battery life now far exceeds the capacity of my entire stash of flash media))
