My specs:
Athlon XP 1700+ revB 0302
Thermalright SK-7/Panaflo L1A/Arctic Silver 3
Abit NF7-S rev1.2 mobo
512mb hyperX pc3000 (1 stick, in dimm 3)

I'm having trouble in higher fsb settings. I have ran the cpu 12.5x168 = 2100 so I know the cpu can run at least that high. However, when I run the cpu 11x185 = 2035, the system won't post. My memory is certified for 185ddr speeds and I know the cpu can run to at leastt 2100, so what is the problem?

you have to manually lock the agp in spec
pci i think is locked automatically

after that, what is the ram rated to (in terms of timings?)
try less aggressive timings

after that, raise vdimm first
(or try running ram at a lower percentage than 100%)
that would rule out the ram

that rev mobo almost always (afaik) has been able to hit 200mhz easily....
but yeh next try vdd

I figured it out. I think the ram was being automatically set by the bios to 2-3-3-7 which should work fine with my hyperx pc3000 ram which is rated at 2-2-2-6. For some reason though, it wouldn't work. I set the timing manually to 2-2-2-6 and I'm currently running the fsb at 185 w/ no problems (haven't tryed higher yet). Very weird...
