Im having problems with a PII mobo

I got a PII mobo from the FS/FT thread and I get it to post 75% of the time, but when it does it wont load Windows. It stops half way through and then freezes. Sometimes it posts, but then it doesn't go further. Other times it doesn't post at all until I hit the reset button then after that the same error. Do I need to change the mobo or is there any known problem that can cause this to happen?
