I have no idea why my pc will reboot on it's own. I reformatted both my hd's and it still has this issue. My hd's are making a (ticking) sound and it will reboot. If I'm playing a game and I exit it my pc does a random reboot. I need to know if my hd's are wearing out,or something is wrong. Any advice would be a wlecome. Thx

Is a memory dump generated at the time of the reboot (look in c:\windows\minidump for files with dates and times of the reboot event.)

What does your event log say?

How old are your drives ? What brand ? Get hard drive manufacturers diagnostic software and test drive(s) for problems.
