I'm having all sorts of problems!

Ever since I got my new Geforce2 Ti/500 XP, I've had all sorts of problems.

Using Windows XP

- Playing any games I get a black screen, or flickering colors like it's scrambled, sometimes here the game music. (Games like D2: LoD, MechCommander 2, WoT, etc...)
- I tried updating VIA 4-in-1, but for some reason it they uninstalled and then won't install because it's trying to find the software???
- When trying to install for video card, it cannot find and install for VID_04E6 PID_80002000?
- I used windows XP native drivers before
- Updated Nvidia drivers to 23.11, but the native one's didn't work in games either

If you need more info, ask me...please help...

yeah, native drivers won't give you 3d support

have you tried installing the newest detonator drivers for xp?

Yes, I am currently running the 23.11's, but no go.

Also, ever since I installed the video card the monitor will shut off at random times and not turn on again and sometimes my computer won't detect the keyboard or mouse or both.

next i would try removing the video card from device manager, rebooting, and then re-installing drivers.

that might give you somewhat more of a "clean" driver install

have you done this yet?

Yes. Especially the one video device that is under Other Devices.

how about booting up into safe mode and removing any video devices that show up in device manager there?

Haven't tried that, I'll go ahead and do that but it's a long shot in the dark.

I think I might have fixed some of the video problems, however, it still can't find the proper software for...

hmmm..do you still have a video device with a question mark listed in device manager?
