I'm graduating today! Woohoo!

Hey all,

Yep today is that special day! It's taken me 6 years to earn my Bachelor's, so I'm very excited to finally be done with school (until I get my Master's, probably 5 years down the line). I took the community college route because I have a family (I was a father at age 16), I took smaller jobs to help pay for my USC education, and this is my 3rd degree which is why it took so long to earn this day. Thankfully though all my hard work paid off, I have a job at Chevron waiting for me in Concord, CA, so I can finally gain some upward mobility and give my daughter the things she deserves that I could, in the past, never afford.

I want to say thank you to all the guys and gals for your help on this forum all these years! I've visited this forum many times to get help with home work, make it through personal problems, fix/mod/overclock my rig, and just shot the shart, so I want to say that your contribution do matter! Now its off to graduation! Fight on!

Your pal,

Benson Wong

It will hit you in a couple of years how much this will change your life. Congratulations on your success. I'm sure you've earned it.

Having a child at 16 certainly make this a huge accomplishment. I missed out on a few months with my oldest because I was working full time and trying to get my graduate degree. I usually got home just in time to deal with colic.
