Hey all,

I have slowly become addicted to hot sauce and buffalo wings. So, I bought a bag of frozen party wings and wings sauce so i can make some at home... Save a little money. WHo has made wings? What sauce did you use? DO YOU HAVE TO THAW THE WINGS FIRST, or can you fry them frozen? My favorite hot saice is crytal, so i got crystal wing sauce. Has anyone tried it?

I have never tried the Crystal wing sauce but I love there regular sauce.

My favourite is Thai chillie sauce with wings yummy.
edit: I'd recommend thawing them first but I could be wrong.

Posting spree? Whatever do you mean? Yep. Just winding down. had a stressful weekend.
Probably thaw, huh? Anyone else? I HATE waiting for stuff to thaw. --But leaving it out overnight is just too long. Then it's all languid and bacterialized. Yuck.

50°- 60°C in the oven and 30 -45 minutes you're all set.

I just buy some Friday's wings and toss them in my toaster oven.
When they're damn near ready to catch on fire I take them out and eat them. After soaking them in more Tabasco sauce, that is. =P

I couldn't in good faith make hot wings using Rooster sauce (tuong ot sriracha) or anything besides Tabasco.. that's just Un-American!

LOL Missus, haven't been to hooters since I lived In Atlanta, but I used to frequent there alot. Best I remember they had A Chernobyl line that would make ya braek out in heavy sweats, tooks lots a beer to cool down:Q

There is A Chief's in Greenville SC we used to go to that had some great wings too.

Ricky - Have no fear in cooking them frozen. Just dump them into the grease and pull them out when they float. Smother with your favorite hot sauce and eat. Have you tried the Habenero Tabasco sauce yet? I like it alot better then the regular Tabasco.

Nice to see that some other fellow Anandtecher guys like to cook too (ChexMix & wings). I've got some Honey Rolls in the oven right now. Who wants to come over and have one? I also made some chocolate chip cookies this weekend that were to-die-for when they were fresh from the oven.
