u pay tax with dell where u are? what about shipping?
ebay, $750 = 24 dollar went out to ebay fee. add paypal and shipping, you cant possibly charge more than 30 bucks shipping to compensate this, otherwise people will think you charge too much on shipping

You won't make money...you will lose out...maybe if you sold them here in Canada.

Ok, I'm having them shipped to a friend in MA because there is no Dell sales tax there. Then he ships them all to me for ~$50.

Good point on the eBay and paypal fees. I would probably then sell them on FS/FT boards or craigslist, although I found NO listings for Rebel XT's in my area (Dayton or Cinci).

Keep in mind that this is the black version, which should fetch a higher price than the silver versions.

True, but it makes me wonder if anyone's even going to be looking for an XT then... The Dayton and Cinci boards don't exactly seem to be "bumpin' "

Well, you're an idiot for posting this if you truly planned on trying to sell in FS/T. Way to pwn yourself.

lol, FS/T is not a viable option for him. Criagslist might even fetch you $8XX something depending.

people here have never taken too kindly to others making money off of hot deals. i'd imagine it would be the same way on other similar forums. good luck selling these on any photography forum, you can be sure they know about the dell deals. you're left with craigslist (low activity, as you said) and ebay (ebay and paypal fees eat up your profit). welcome to the world of business!
