Going to Vegas for some fun times in the sun and the beach. No gambling, no shows (they look boring), not really big on eating out at restaurants or drinking. What to do?

There's no beach in Las Vegas and you've excluded the only things to do there, so go somewhere else.

Agreed, it doesn't make sense that you want to go there if you don't enjoy anything they have to offer. If you just want to chill at a beach, why don't you actually go to a beach? It's nice in Australia right now. :D

Not go to Vegas would be first on my list of things to do given what you just said.

Beach? Vegas is in the middle of the fucking desert...there are no beaches in Vegas.

BTW-Vegas is cold as fuck right now. Today's high is going to be 44 degrees F with a low of 30 F overnight.

He can attend an auto auction, pay $100,000 for a nice car, stop at Walmart and buy some swimming trunks, then head to Lake Mead for some jet skiing. It will be damn cold, but oh well.

I think you've combined Los Angeles and Las Vegas. They are actually several hours apart. None of the hotel pools will be open in vegas, and I doubt there is much warm sun either. There are certainly no beaches.

Well, you ruled out everything to do in Vegas except a prostitute.

So, I'm voting, get a prostitute.

Not in Vegas (hell it's not even close to Vegas)

@OP. Go somewhere else? As you seem to think Vegas has beaches and don't want to participate in 80% of the attractions the city has to offer.

Seriously, just skip it then. Vegas is knowns for its gambling, shows, amazing hotel restaurants, and of course plenty of drinking. What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas. But apparently what happens in Vegas won't be happening to you. :(

Well - Things to do in Vegas not involing gambling etc.

Red Rock Canyon is great. Only 20 miles form the strip and has a great scenic road to drive around and there is multiple places to stop and park you car and do a hike any where from a mile to all day hike.

You can go to Luxor and check out the Bodies exhibit and Titanic, they are both great.

You can head out Tropicanna towards Henderson and a couple of miles from the strip. There is a gun store where you can shoot full auto weapons. It is pricey at around $40 to shoot 50 rounds.

I know you are not big on restaurants but there a lot of great restaurants at Vegas. There is one right in front of the Paris where you can sit and people watch the people walking along the strip.

There is several Outlet Malls if you are into shopping.

There is always Hoover Dam, which is interesting.
