2003 BMW M3... I gotta get rid of it. Big payments on it, winter is coming, and now that I'm not working in the city any more, I can't justify having it as a single car. I thought about getting a second car in addition to the M3, but then you're talking about spending over $1000 a month in JUST car payments. I am not THAT irresponsible :)

Anyhoo.... just wanted to share my loss with you guys... it will be missed. *sniffle*

Here it is, in all its glory: http://picasaweb.google.com/shayaan/M3/

BTW... I am going to buy instead, a used Audi A4 3.0 (2003 or 2004), automatic as fully loaded as I can get it. I figure I'll have a nice warranty (CPO), all wheel drive, and a good comfortable ride as well.

I'll keep you all posted on that too....

Yea, but I'm trying to be responsible... besides if I wait on it, the M3 will take a hit on trade-in value because when the new one comes out, the value will dip a bit. I don't want to be destroyed on the trade in THEN, when I can take it comfortably now.

I will probably get a fun car next year during the summer, something like a Honda S2000 or something.. just to play with :)

Whos Mazda 3 is that ?

Mine as well... the Mazda6 is a friend's though. We were detailing cars that day.

What happened to that car?

Sold a while ago, privately.. when I took the job to go into NYC, I got rid of a car and kept the M3. Now that I'm getting rid of the M3, I need something that will do the everyday tasks the Mazda3 did. I don't want another 3 though, which is why I'm getting the A4.

Man I miss my 330ci

AWD.

And honestly, the A4 is quieter inside, has a better interior too. I know I'm giving up performance, but for the time being I'll deal with it. I had an RX-8 a year ago (before I got the M3), and I found that a LOT more fun than the M3. Given that the RXes are going cheap now, I might pick one up next year :)

I feel very sad for you. I would never want to part with my BMW, especially an M series. I'll keep fixing and driving my E34 till the day I die.
