Hmm, defintitly not Aeropostale, Hollister, or Abercrombie and Bitch unless you're a slut, I'd say American Eagle or Old Navy

I don't know of any male sluts... lol

Be like all the hip kids and shop A&F... btw you didnt mention if you were metro or not 😉

I had a feeling this would be brought up, lol.. Does me NOT being metro change me shopping at A&F or not?

Depends, if you are not metro, yet want to look like one, by all means shop A&F. If you dont want to be metro and dont want to look like a metro then shop elsewhere.

How about Macy's? Or JC Penny? Are you looking for a new style or want to shop somewhere else for no reason what so ever? List your clothes preference, if you have none: Walmart, Salvation Army and Bells Outlet are perfect for you

Ah, A&F is for metros? Gotcha, maybe thats why I never shopped there in the first place...

Not directly, it's just a hip place that the young male crowd loves for the moment - however the young male crowd these days isn't as rugged and manly as it used to be. So therefore a lot of metro's are shopping at A&F. That's just my theory though and their crap is way overpriced I think.

If you've got any Belk dept. stores where you live, check them out, their end of season clearance is hella good. American Eagle FTW, Aeropostale FTL. The extra $4 or $5 you'll pay at AE for a polo ($1-3 for a t-shirt) compared to Aeropostale is very well worth it considering how much better the shirts are. As for pants, anything that doesn't say Levi's on it isn't worth buying; I want to be buried in my 550s or my 560s.

Edit: <rant> THE HELL WITH ANY FVCKING CLOTHES THAT COME "PREWORN" OR "DAMAGED". IF I WANT STAINED, RIPPED, OR "AGED" JEANS I'LL FVCKIN GET THEM FROM THE SALVATION ARMY!!! </rant>

American Eagle for the standard, casual look. Express for slightly nicer clothes, many of which can be dressy or casual.

Express has some AWESOME sales, by the way. I got some high-quality jeans for $7.99 (originally $98.00) when they went "out of season." Also, their plain-as-day t-shirts (that look basically the same as AE's but slightly higher in quality) often cost *less* than comparable stores.

Also: I haven't bought Levi's in 7 or 8 years. Wow.

I'm gonna have to check Express out, never actually set foot in there (I dress casually 99% of the time, I think I have 2 shirts, 3 tops, that I could really call dressy, and 2 pairs of dress pants if I'm lucky). And Levi's makes the best damn jeans evar, followed closely by maybe Nautica. Levi's =! Wal-Mart/Target Levi's "Signature Label" or whatever they call the $14 Levi's they sell there, I'm talking about the Levi's that still actually have numbers for styles and normally sell for $30.

How old are you? Are you dressing for a work environment?

I like Banana Republic and Hects (nice dress shirts). Express is ok (but a tad ghey). American Eagle is too young for me. I only go there to pick up highschool girls.

AE sucks. They used to have good stuff, but they probably figure people buy it for the name now so they just carry overpriced crap.

AE's not too bad. Abercrombie is extremely overpriced compared to AE IMO. If you have to have A&F, just to go Hollister before dropping $100 for a casual dress shirt.

Hollister costs just as much as AE around here.

Hollister is cheaper than A&F, though, as it is owned by A&F.

It's like Old Navy and Gap ... one is cheaper and has somewhat lesser quality clothing. But it's all mostly the same style.
