Last night, the stupid power went out, not once, not twice but three times! Then it was out long enough for the ups to go dead. To top it all off, win2k pro decided that it was going to corrupt some files in the process. I just now got Win98SE installed.

SIGH.
 
That sucks man 🙁 I have it lucky here, the power never goes out for more than 10 minutes but things can change... and I have a UPS too 🙂
 
I think it is not usuall thing for W2k because it once happend to me and everything was OK.
And I think that W2k much better than Win98.

Well I'm not taking a chance like that again. I'm just thankful that all my programs are on another hd. One good thing has come up, I was told that DSL is now in my area and I hope to have it REAL soon. 😀
 
I guess we're real lucky with the power here 🙂 ,we've had just 1 day where the power went off in the past year.
