I'm going to Israel, and I need some advice.

I am planning on moving to Israel on July2003. I want to live on a Kibbutz. In February of 2003 I would like to spend 2 weeks in Israel, finding the right Kibbutz.

Can anyone offer some advice on using my 2 weeks as best as I can ?

Right now, I wouldn't go to Israel for any money in the world. Respect.

I have been wanting to go to Israel for many years. Work/Life conflicts have always gotten in the way. I know that things are rough out there, but I am sick and tired of letting things get in the way.

how bout mexico, mexico is nice. or rome. theres nice ruins in rome. or athens. and athens has gyros. and egypt has a pyramid with a tiny door with another door. you don't need to go to israel for history.

yeah and add a cell phone for emergencies - the body armor wont keep ur legs attached, maybe even a gas mask might come in handy - if u cant prove to be a Jew u wont get one in Israel (remember '91)

I'd go to Israel before I went to Egypt. Egypt is a hotbed of radical Islam, and they target American Tourists.

I'd go to Israel before I went to Egypt. Egypt is a hotbed of radical Islam, and they target American Tourists.

American tourists get thier very own police bodygaurds. Israeli tourists/Jews get 24 hr guards with submachine guns. You are pretty safe in Egypt from radicals, but you will potentially get hustled/swindled/pick pocketed.
