I'm very curious about this movie. It looks like utter crap, but it has questions popping up in my mind:

Plot Summary
Three hotshot pilots go into the air in experimental airplanes. They fly around, then learn that some sort of secret super project has been approved, which gives them an aircraft carrier to use as a base. On their next mission to kill terrorists in a highrise in Rangoon, the plane observes Ben, the lead pilot, perform a risky move to kill the terrorists. Eddy, the robot plane, identifies the terrorists from the sky with visual contact, a retinal scan, and a fingerprint scan. Yeah, what the hell.
On their way back to base, the plane is strucky by lightning. In a CGI sequence, the plane's DNA unwinds. The plane now has a mind of its own. Even though the plane is busted, the evil CO decides that it will accompany the pilots on the next mission. For now, though, the pilots have shore leave. Sexual tension. it is implied that Henry Purcell (Jamie Foxx) nails a Thai chick.
Their next mission is to attack SCUD launchers in Tajistan. The real pilots, Ben (Josh Lucas), Henry (Jamie Foxx), and Kara (Jessica Biel) don't want to attack it because their missiles will spread "radioation dust" into a village and into pakistan. Rogue plane does it anyway! Henry gets pissed off at this, and says that he will "take the plane down". He tries real hard, but the plane tricks him into flying into a cliff face. Jamie Foxx is dead.
Kara's plane suddenly has a malfunction. She must return to base. It's all up to Ben. He flies to the same fueling plane that Eddy used, finding it drifting in the air, creating a halo of airborne fuel. Just as he's about to finish refueling, Eddy lights up the fuel across the diameter from ben. Ben barely escapes with his life.
Kara's plane is breaking apart, and she must land in North Korea, 10 miles from the border. She ejects, and the plane explodes over her. As she falls at terminal velocity, a piece of burning plane torches her parachut. She falls intoa tree, and is discovered. She darts away, into the forest, south.
The Evil CO orders the designer of the plane to go to the Alaska base and reprogram Eddy.
Ben and Eddy engage in a dogfight. Eddy reports there being 2 bogeys. Eddy takes out one, Ben takes out one, witha thrid chasing him. Ben dodges around it and blows it up. They keep flying, but a piece of debris hits Eddy! His plane's left side lights on fire. Ben reasons with the plane, and talks it into going back to base. The evil CO says that there's a secret fueling base in Alaska. Eddy and Ben fly over there. Ben crash lands into the base.
In North Korea, Kara is being chased by the army. She is shot in the shoulder, but keeps running. She kills 5 or 6 soldiers with a pistol.
In the Alaska base, a doctor tries to give Ben a shot, but Ben refuses. The doctor insists, then gets violent. He accidentally injects himself, and dies. Ben kills a man with a metal pipe and takes his gun. He takes over the hangar. The plane's creator is there, too. Ben orders him to reprogram Eddy. He flies away in Eddy.
The CO's plan is blown open, and he shoots himself.
Ben flies toward the border, blows it up. He also blows up the soliders. He gets out of the plane and finds Kara. They run toward the border, but are attacked by a helicopter. Eddy comes to life, and plows into the copter, blowing it up. All is well!
Henry's funeral.
Last line in the movie, said by Ben to Kara (sexual Tension): "2 is a prime number. Prime numbers are lucky. We're two. We must be lucky."
What happens when it runs out of fuel?
Answer: The plane only has to refuel once. The rogue plane goes to a midair refueling craft, approaches a nozzle, access is denied. It blows off the nozzle and refuels itself. I really thought that midair US refueling stations which are incredibly close to the Russian border would have a crew of at least 1.
What happens when it runs out of missiles?
Answer: It never runs out of missles. It runs through the entire movie with 8 missiles. It shoots down 2 planes, kills Jamie Foxx, wipes out a hangar door, kills about 30 North Koreans, and wipes out a large section of the North/South Korea border.
Why is the movie called "Stealth"?
Answer: The plane's stealth is deactivated very early into the movie. it never actually uses its stealth field. movie should be called "Robot Plane kills everything"
Why did Jamie Foxx agree to do this film?
Answer: I don't know.
Why do they have a bikini scene in the trailer?
Answer: This is the only decent part of the film. Sadly, it's only a minute long.
How can a plane be turned "evil"?
When the plane was struck by lightning, they showed a CGI sequence of circuitry, then DNA inside the plane twisting apart. Yeah. DNA.
How would lightning rewire a plane?
Answer: It didn't rewire the plane, it rewired the plane's DNA.
Why is this movie so much like 2001: A space Odyssey?
Answer: They had to completely wreck my memory of a decent movie.
For these reasons and more, I'll be going to the 3:30 show. A mini-review will follow.
