I'm going to buy a samsung DLP 50" tv today

I'm looking at the HL507W. Does anyone have any comments about this tv or DLP tvs in general? I was also wondering what the difference btwn that and the 5065W was. This is my first big tv!

It is a great set. The main difference between the two models is the black bezel on the 507w

how much are you going to pay for that set?

A great choice!

I would much rather have a DLP that plasma. The cell size on plasmas are too large for me, and I find it distracting.

Do a little searching on the web first...they can be had for much less than $4k...I just happen to sell them

wow $4k, didn't someone on this board buy a 61" DLP for like $3800-3850 if I remember right?
