i use to work at best buy back when i didn't know about their f-ed up antics and when i thought best buy was an awesome place to work cuz of all the gadgets and such. i worked there on and off twice and left. now i have applied again since i moved to another state and cant find a well paying job.

employee discounts use to be awesome on car audio. but just as i was leaving best buy a year or so ago, they changed it so the discounts aren't that great anymore.

yea, why dont you guys try working at BB for a while and then quit...only to have to return to that place since there is no other good job available in the area.
sheesh...whats w/ all the negative comments. if this thread and/or my posts bothers you that much then dont reply...this way you'll be doing both of us a huge favor.

whats the employee discount like?

~40%, but you are required to buy the service plan.

Don't know how your store does it but every store in Ohio is 5% over cost.

I don't even work there. It was a joke.

Don't worry. According to the Best Buy commercials its a great place to work, and the place where the customer can live the digital lifestyle to the max. :D

what do you consider a "well-paying job" ?

There's always data entry work ... usually you can listen to your music... and it usually pays $12+/hr.
