Im going to be in college forever

I just found out that in order to get into my major they factor in my GPA from my previous school a community college. I took alot of worthless classes there, I have one I took when I was 16 about how to get a job that my parents kind of dragged me into that im now going to have to re-take at the community college among other things to get in. I'm almost 23 now and im going to have to spend the next two semesters re-taking classes at the community college, classes I mostly took in high school in order to get my gpa up to finish the rest of this stupid degree. By the time I re-take these classes then finish the rest of my degree ill be turning 25.... fuck
 
i couldnt graduate at 22, 23 was ok i guess. had to spend one whole semester retaking a 2 credit course. didnt work, slept all day and went to class 2 hours on fridays. best semester ever.

That's really odd. The college I attend doesn't factor in my GPA from my community college years (although I really wish they did, would definitely have helped).

I feel you man. I'm kind of in the same boat SandEagle was in, I'm going to have to stay a semester for 6 credits. I'll be 23. 25 kind of sucks, maybe work and do your community college courses one at a time (night classes)?

I do have a job already, so I guess there is that. I guess one reason im taking so long is because ive been really bad at putting crappy ahead in my priorities over finishing school. I only do about 30hrs a week though, its still part time.
 
ground hawg day. you could become a teacher after you graduate and join the ranks of all the other inexperienced theoretical teachers that never worked in the real world.

Kwitcher fucking whining...I was 55 when I graduated from community college...😛

Of course, there was almost 40 years between dropping out of high school and starting community college...
