Nah, life continues untill you get a minivan. Once you get one of those it's OFFICALLY and CONFIRMED over.

Just wait until he and his wife have to get up every other hour in the middle of the night because the baby is crying ;)

That get's old real fast.

True, but hopefully they'll get beyond that in a few months. Our daughter is 15 weeks and sleeps through the night 90% of the time.

That makes two of us. There were a few times when I just had to go sit on the back stoop (where I coudn't hear the crying) and gnaw on my knuckles until I cooled off.

Sleep deprivation + screaming infant = instant insanity.

Well he's right....but not necesserily in a bad way. This is your first kid? You must be excited at the moment....then I think the overwhelmingness will kick in.

I am only 22 and at the moment I say "never wants kids....nope....never....well maybe 1 tops" who knows my attitude may change!

Yeah, our son is 8 weeks old and manages five to seven hour stretches 9 times out of 10.
