I had the steak at applebees when I was on a business trip and it was the only thing around. I SWEAR, my steak was microwaved. Like it came from the commissary already cooked and all they did was heat it up and throw some juice over it. They asked how I wanted it and I said medium rare of course, but it was grey throughout and the texture screamed "microwaved steak".

The baked potato? Microwaved.

It really used to be a good place to eat, but they have changed the ingrediants in their dishes and got crappier cuts of meat and just went downhill all around. I can hardly stand it anymore.

Chains rule here. Our mom & pop restaurants are just shit. Servers in tank tops (hello!), overmixed pancake batter (not uncommon, unfortunately), line chefs can't cook a burger to medium, etc.

Texas Roadhouse is opening on November 14, and it's gonna be huge. Can't wait... :biggrin:
