My Pc is playing wav files on its own or something,

I just got 2-3 Aim instant msg sounds and no one msged me.

before that I got some weird loops from songs.

HELP, I think I'm going insane, but I believe the computer is doing it.

Hmm things playing on their own also sounds like someone might of hacked the box with a Trojan. You should scan for them as well. Use this program, "The Cleaner"

The cleaner is one of the best out there for trojan cleanup, scanning.

Or better yet, follow the malware clean up thread which is stickied at the very top of the Software forum. You'll find a good bit of expertise there.

Thanks, it didn't find anything though 🙁 I already stuff with a lot of programs. I did AVG virus as well.

have you tried un-installing AIM and trying gaim or trillian?
