I'm going horse back riding!

A lady friend of mine is taking me horse back riding in a few hours. I haven't rode a horse in 5 or 6 years, so I'm not really sure what to do. I'm mainly wondering what I need to wear, but any other tips would be good. I don't want to make myself look like a total horse nub.

What to wear? Try jeans and whatever shirt is appropriate for the weather. Also, yes there is a reason for the cowboy boots, but don't worry about that, just wear some decent shoes, tennis shoes will work, but a pair of work or hiking boots would probably be better. Also, don't be nervous around the horse, it will pick up on this just like any other animal, and would probably enjoy a treat such as an apple or a couple of carrots, which your lady friend would probably find sweet of you to think about something for the horse.
