i caught one about 16 inches, and that was it..🙁

Mepps small spinners worked for me,
the last time I fished for Pike/Pickeral,at Schroon Lake.

It was 1973.

Emerald shiners rigged on a slip sinker are teh best.
You've gotta use a super light leader and toss at the clearest patches of weeds you can find.
You'll clean house.
