Next week I am going back to college for a week long "Summer Institute" at McPherson College in Kansas.

In addition to a full 4 year degree in automotive restoration, they also offer 1 week classes during the school's Summer break.

This is the first year I have remembered to sign up for a class, and am taking a class in Sheet Metal Restoration. Its only about a 4 hour drive for me, and the timing works out well with work, so I am kind of excited to go. It appears to be a fairly well respected automotive restoration course, and Jay Leno helps to sponsor a scholarship program there.

I just hope I'm not too old to learn. :|

Just for general knowledge, no career path. Welding this sheet metal is a finicky process, I need to brush up some skills with that. They also teach metal forming, and watching someone hammer a curved fender or bowl from a flat sheet of metal is fascinating to me, and I hope to learn some basics of that to practice.
