Well, I've been thinking about it a lot lately and finally decided to do it. I'm going to take some classes. I'm starting tomorrow with an Introduction to Illustrator tomorrow. The class lasts a week. I'll be taking more Illustrator classes after that along with Photoshop and probably some others. Do any of you have any experience with Illustrator? I've never used it. Is it hard or easy to learn? Also, where can I get the program cheap? I want to be able to practice at home.

Enjoy your class; I think you should be able to learn it without too much difficulty.
 
Thanks guys. I should have listened to myself years ago. I looked into it a few years back. I've been working with some people to get my main site going. We've been trying to come up with a logo and it's been fun trying to come up with ideas. I've realized I like graphic design. LOL (I'm only 25 and trying to decide what I want to be when I "grow up".) Heehee

ugh, this is my first semester back after a year off. hopefully i can take one last class in first summer session and get my bachelors.
 
Congrats, and I 2nd the recommendation for buying the software through your school. You can get them for pretty cheap if they offer it.

I know. I started my own business so I am rather tied up at the moment. First time I was majoring in the wrong thing, so I dropped out. Second time was going well until I got married. Third time was the charm, but it was too expensive and my marriage was failing.

I hope to get back someday, but it's rather unlikely. Just don't make the same mistake I did -- stay with it!!

congrats, im sure youre school will have some kind of program with ms that you can get academic software at a very low cost. academic means that it's only for students, but its actually a full version.

Cool. I'm going to look at their program today to see exactly what I'm going to be taking. It isn't a regular college, so I'm having to pay for the classes instead of financial aid....although I'm going to look into it. I just wanted to be able to practice at home. That way I can learn faster. 🙂
