Im glad I dont park reverse into parking spaces

I come out today and see a junky piece of crap pickup truck pressed against my front bumper scratching up and bending my front license plate. If I parked in reverse I would have had my back bumper scratched up by his front license plate. The only bad part about parking like this, is all the SUVs and Vans blocking your view when you back out of a parking space.

oh, i get it now. so you parked front way in and he just dinked up your license plate BUT if you had backed in, he woulda been all up on your bumper. OOOHH!!!! In that case, if it's not THAT bad, just drive away.

this is why I always try to find a corner spot and park as close to the curb as i possibly can.

I've got some dents on my rear bumper already, and a hitch on the front...if someone runs into me they will probably get more damage than me :)

Yeah...I so hate it when people don't respect other peopole's property.

My mother has a neighbor who is ALWAYS banging into her vehicle when he parks out on the street. Sad thing is...even when he is NOT intoxicated or being a bad driver, he does it ON PURPOSE because he flat out doesn't care!

Backing in, while harder, is in most ways a superior parking technique; you seem to have found a disadvantage, though, at least for people who prefer their rear license plate to the front :)
