So I've known for a while I've got sleep apnea.

Finally go to the doc, as I'm exhausted all the time. Course he can't do anything for me, he is just a doc right? So off to the sleep study clinic. Sleep there, they confirm what is wrong with me that I already knew at the tune of probably over 1000$, now they send it back to the doc who wrote a prescription that the medical equipment provider wants to provide me old crap to use. So I go back to the doc today for him to rewrite the scrip where it isn't open to the DME's interpretation. . . but lo and behold my doc is the only doc that can give a c-section. Long story short, I won't be able to get back by this week, so another week has passed (like 2 or 3) where I keep getting jerked around. So when I finally get the scrip that isn't open to interpretation of giving me cheap equipment that I've researched online as being subpar, then I get to wait while the insurance company 'confirms that I am sick' with all involved, then let the DME order the equipment, wait somemore, drive 40 miles get fitted with a mask, and then maybe at some magical date in the future, I can get what I need.

Bought to just buy an apap off of ebay or something. . . sheesh. . .

Is snoring considered sleep apnea? I have a friend who is not fat at all, but still snores and quits breathing, then gasps for breath.

Sounds like a bitch

I guess I take my ability to fall asleep relatively easily and stay asleep through hurricanes for granted :D

No, its just the lard caving in on his breathing canal and lungs.
