Baby girl due in less than 2 weeks, my son was a c-section baby, so they scheduled one just in case for the 15th...if she doesnt have it naturally by then (unlikely)

So, in any case there is my little brag o' the moment. I'll post pics when she comes.

Hopefully the second time around is a little easier since I'll know the tricks :)

Being that this one wil be a girl - many of the tricks will not apply.

And remember that in 15+ years; she will be looking at boys (like her Dad)

Make it clear to her that she doesn't date until she is 25.

That is what I told mine ... no, they didn't listen:awe:

I told my wife it was time for me to buy a gun....dont even need the bullets. Its just for show when the little bastards come by

I told my wife the same thing when my daughter was born (4mo now) but she disagreed. I guess it doesn't really matter since she isn't dating as long as I'm alive.

Good luck with the daughter and the delivery.

How does one got about getting ready?

Prepare the baby's room, buy baby clothes, diapers, baby wipes, blankets, etc...not to mention the mental preparation. People generally do this when they're about to become parents...responsible people anyway.

BTW-Congrats RadiclDreamer!

Not sure why all dads are so defensive about their daughters dating. Just have to be sure that you raise to have the ability to choose good boyfriends instead of creeps. That'll probably be more useful than all the guns in the world. THough since I have a boy, maybe I just don't get it.

Congrats RadiclDreamer and good luck.

Hey congrats!! Me too, my second son is due on the 26th.

You know what they say, with boys you only have to worry about one penis, with girls, you have to worry about them all!

Because some lieelt prick is doing shit they shouldn't be doing. That's why we get so defensive about our daughters dating. We remember the crap we tried and used to pull. That's why we get so defensive about our daughters dating.

I think it's time to buy a shotgun.

oh by the way OP. Congrats. having a two daughters has been nothing short of special (frustrating as well) but special nonetheless. Enjoy your time with daddy's girl.
