I'm getting ping at very badly......

Is there a way that i can identify who's doing that?? I've got their IP logged onto my router. I'm getting disconnected from ICQ so often.

neo trace or do a tracert, should give you their isp at least. like if i do a tracert to myself (example) it'll say tracing route to blahblah and blahblah.myisp.com then call em up and tell them what the guy is doing and give them the ip addy. or call your isp and have them block his ip. if he changes it and keep doing it just have them block the subnet, etc.

tracert shouldnt be showing you ports though....

2 different protocals.

TCP=Transmission Control Protocol
UDP=User Datagram Protocol

i cant remember exactly what the difference is. i know that udp doesnt have anything (or little) in the way of error fixing/recovery. that was one of the huge problems with anarchy online. it used UDP and didnt work so well...that's about all i know
